• Profile information — display name, handicap index, and avatar photo
• Trip and event data — registrations, scores, team assignments, and RSVP responses you submit
• Group data — groups you create or join, tee time schedules, and member lists

We also collect limited technical data automatically:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Usage analytics via Vercel Analytics (anonymous, aggregated)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve the Service
• Display your profile and activity to group members you are associated with
• Send transactional emails (event invitations, registration confirmations)
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing of Information

Your profile and participation data (name, handicap, scores) are visible to members of groups and events you belong to. Group commissioners can see member rosters for groups they manage. We do not share your data with third parties except as needed to operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication providers) or as required by law.

4. Authentication

We use Google OAuth and email/password authentication via Firebase Authentication. We do not store your Google password. Firebase Authentication is governed by Google’s privacy practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited time after deletion.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session and remember preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us.
